TPR PODCAST 120: ARTIST JIM PAVELEC

This episodes guest is the talented Jim Pavelec who creepy and beautiful illustrations dive deep into the demons of  Ars Goetia. He works on paintings and drawings enhanced by his mixed media techniques and digital tools which create truly stunning and visually unique pieces of art.

His art and illustrations have been featured professionally in many fantasy and science fiction projects: Magic the Gathering, World of War Craft, Star Wars (KOTOR),  Dungeons and Dragons and more. Everything to card art to book cover illustrations.

Currently Jim is working on  My first goal is to release a Thoth Tarot deck based on my work, and then finally to print a high-end, full color, revised edition of the Ars Goetia with new visual interpretations of all 72 demons, as well as new written descriptions.

Getting lost in an Art-hole (A-Hole for short). Making and watching movies as a kid  was a huge inspiration for Autumn. Autumn works on special effect (SFX) make up, molding as well as being a make up artist and designer toys. We talk craft and inspiration.

Autumn Lewis is a Makeup Artist and Sculptor located in Los Angeles, CA. She is a certified Makeup Artist from The Skin and Makeup Institute in Phoenix, AZ.   Her most notable clients are Charlie Baker (Breaking Bad, The Wild) and Skillset Magazine (Chandler, AZ based Specialty Magazine). Her passion for Makeup started at a young age, she had taught herself SFX Makeup and is now formally trained. Her sculpture work is often made of mixed media, from Polymer Clay to Wood and Metal. Her sculptures often depict the many demons hiding beneath the surface of emotion as well as the little creatures she has created in her own dream world.
